Melissa Hanaki, a 27-year-old resident of Rossmoor pleaded guilty to various charges and was sentenced to 3 years in state prison. Hanaki and her boyfriend, Brandon Lebo, 34, are also under investigation by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department for burglaries and car theft in Rossmoor.
This investigation is ongoing, so all the information is not complete, but OC180NEWS has learned that Hanaki pleaded guilty to being in possession of a 2004 Lexus 330, which was stolen from Rossmoor on October 13, 2011. She also pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, and destroying evidence.
According to online resources, Hanaki graduated from Laurel High School in 2002. She has a number of convictions starting in 2008 when she was busted for possession of controlled substances. She also was convicted for receipt of stolen property in 2009 and car theft in 2010.
