Registration for girls’ fastpitch softball has begun in Garden Grove.
West Grove Girls Softball League is holding sign-ups for its winterball season. Sign-ups are available in all divisions for girls aged 7-14. The cost is $150 and includes uniform, pictures, and umpire fees. Sign-ups will be held at Enders Elementary School, 12302 Springdale Street, in Garden Grove. The winterball season runs from August through November.
. Participants may register on-line at www.westgrovesoftball.com or in person at Enders Elementary on the following dates: Saturday, July 16 or July 30. Sign-ups will also take place at the Garden Grove Community Foundation’s summer concerts on Thursday, July 21, and Thursday, July 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Eastgate Park, 12001 St. Mark Street.
West Grove Softball League has been a part of the Garden Grove community since 1970 offering a semi-competitive environment for girls to learn the fundamentals of softball including teamwork and sportsmanship. The volunteer-driven league provides a safe environment for local female athletes to stay active and have fun. Teams are coached and managed by parent volunteers.
