The Los Angeles premiere of Astro Boy was held Monday night at the Mann Chinese 6 Theatre. The stars aligned for the spiky haired young boy’s premiere along with over 1,600 eager fans. Numerous websites & Radio Stations gave away VIP passes to a few lucky winners & the audience enjoyed red carpet viewings, while the celebrities gathered in honor of the wonder boys life long legacy. Stars such as Kristen Bell & Madeline Carroll graced the red carpet with elegance & class & also enjoyed the flashing lights & paparazzi, but Astro Boy himself is no stranger to the spotlight.
First published in 1952, Osamu Tezuka’s Japanese manga brought us the first glimpse of Astro Boy. Astro Boy is the story of Tobio, Doctor Tenma’s son who dies in a tragic car accident. Tenma then builds an exact android replica of his son with the same human characteristics but with a few super human abilities.
After disappearing from the world, Astro Boy has made an appearance back to our galaxy. Now you can experience the captivating journey along with the big screen premiere of Astro Boy. While running a few test of Blue Energy & Red Energy an experiment goes horribly wrong killing Doctor Tenma’s son, Toby. Doctor Tenma then organizes & builds an exact android replica of his son. The battle for love, acceptance, blue energy & saving the world makes Astro a little boy with big obstacles.
