Seal Beach Bank Robbery Suspect Identified

The Seal Beach Police Department has announced the identity of the suspect in the January 10 robbery of the Washington Mutual Bank at 13900 Seal Beach Blvd. He is: Brian Keith Robinson, Black Male, 49 years of age, 5’11”, 170-200 pounds, black/gray hair, brown eyes. His last known addresses are in Long Beach and Arkansas. He currently has a warrant for his arrest from Arkansas for bank robbery.

The Police previously determined the suspect’s identity, but according to Sgt. Bob Mullins, of the Seal Beach Police Department, “In order not to compromise leads in the investigation, the suspect’s identity was not immediately released. Since that time, the suspect has committed several bank robberies in the Southern California area. He has been dubbed the Salt and Pepper Bandit.”

Anyone with information on the crime is urged to contact Detective Gary Krogman at (562) 799-4100, extension 1108.
